Gerhard Jansen van Vuuren skuldig bevind aan moord op voormalige meisie; 11 jaar later

Gerhard Jansen van Vuuren – wat daarvan aangekla is dat hy sy voormalige vriendin, Andrea Venter, met ‘n mes doodgesteek het – is in die Palm Ridge-landdroshof skuldig bevind aan moord.

Regter Ian Cox het bevind dat Jansen van Vuuren in 2011 met voorbedagte rade opgetree het toe hy haar aangerand en vermoor het.

Hy is ook skuldig bevind aan die aanranding van ‘n veiligheidswag, Thulani Ndlovo.

Jansen van Vuuren is in 2011 in hegtenis geneem, maar het enkele dae voordat die moordverhoor in 2013 ‘n aanvang sou neem, met onwettige dokumente landuit gevlug.

Hy is daardie selfde jaar deur die Brasiliaanse owerhede in hegtenis geneem vir die vervalsing van dokumente, maar is in 2015 vrygelaat.

Jansen van Vuuren is weer in 2020 opgespoor en gedeporteer nadat Interpol se hulp iongeroep is.

The purpose of the project is to provide Lesotho with a source of income in exchange for the provision of water to the central Gauteng province where the majority of industrial and mining activity occurs in South Africa, as well as to generate hydroelectric power for Lesotho (currently almost 100% of Lesotho's requirements).
