President Cyril Ramaphosa het vanoggend die Duitse bondskanselier, Olaf Scholz by die Uniegebou in Pretoria verwelkom as deel van sy staatsbesoek aan Suid-Afrika.

Ramaphosa het tydens ‘n mediakonferensie gesê dat Duitsland Afrika ondersteun te midde van sy stryd teen die Covid-19-pandemie.
Hy sê Suid-Afrika se verhouding met Duitsland is uiters belangrik omdat Duitsland, Suid-Afrika se tweede grootste handelsvennoot is. Volgens hom is daar ongeveer 600 Duitse maatskappye in Suid-Afrika.
Scholtz het Ramaphosa se boodskap benadruk dat die twee lande ‘n goeie verhouding het.
